Giovinco lands in Toronto


 
 
The Atomic Ant touches down in Toronto to start his new adventure in the MLS
 
A welcoming party, 500 people strong was present on hand at Toronto's Pearson International Airport on Thursday.
 
 
 
The Atomic Ant was greeted with a roar from the crowd that was waiting for him at Terminal One.
 
Sebastian Giovinco anticipates his arrival by 6 months. The MLS outfit announced his arrival on January 19 expecting him to join in July, upon the expiry of his contract with Juventus. His agent renegotiated his agreement with the Turin club who released the player so he may join TFC right away.
 
 
 
Giovinco will join his new teammates at Toronto FC training camp in the coming weeks.

As a Juventino who is not from Turin it's difficult to fully appreciate the rivalry with crosstown rivals AC Torino. My very personal wish to Juventus on her 120th birthday

In occasion of Juventus FC's 120th birthday, I want to take advantage of this platform to give you an account of what Juventus means to me. My Champions League Final

On my commute home one cool evening in May I feel my phone buzzing in my jacket's pocket. I pick up. "Hey, man, listen. I've got to tell you something: I've got to go", my friend Jack intimates. "And you need my permission?", I reply jokingly. "No, dude. I have to go to the final". Another acquaintance of mine, Dom, had already planted a little bug in my ear, suggesting that we meet in Cardiff for the final before Juve's second semifinal against Monaco, generously offering me to split his accommodations if I decided to go.
