#Pirlo set to move to #NYCFC this July: #Juventus owed compensation?
"No Pirlo, No Party" a banner from New York City FC fans read when the sky blue hosted the Montreal Impact on June 13.
Incessant rumours about Andrea Pirlo's imminent move to the MLS expansion team have become deafening over the last two weeks, and we're no longer able to ignore them.
This afternoon Italian transfer market specialists have spoken at unison: Andrea Pirlo will follow the path of Sebastian Giovinco, Marco Di Vaio, and the legendary Roberto Donadoni across The Pond, to Major League Soccer's New York City FC:

Pirlo will make €5 million per annum in New York, according to Gazzetta.it. An eventual transfer fee to Juventus is yet to be determined, as we are unaware of any negotiation between NYC FC (or the MLS on their behalf) and Juventus.
Pirlo has one year left on his contract, and the Turin giants are unlikely to let him go on a free transfer as exemplified in the case of Carlos Tevez's transfer to Boca Juniores, in which the bianconeri are insisting on a financial tribute to break the Argentine's contract.
