Important offer from the MLS for Giovinco

Major League Soccer side Toronto FC has made a substantial offer for the Atomic Ant to join them once his contract expires in June 2015

Toronto yes, Toronto no. Reports from ESPN say yes, Italian source say no. Until today.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, MLS outfit Toronto Football Club has made an offer to the Atomic Ant. And it's a significant one: €6 million per season. And Giovinco reflects.

As reported just a few days ago, Corriere Canadese's Leonardo Molinelli spoke to Giovinco's agent Andrea D'Amico who flat out denied any interest or offer made by Toronto FC, debunking any theory or interest from either party to make such a move at this time.

D'Amico did confirm, however, that Giovinco will not move in January and will determine his fate upon the expiry of his contract at which point he will be free to choose his next destination.
